In a partnership that built upon their work experience and natural leadership skills, 29 team members from the GIANT Company celebrated the awarding of their 18-credit Certificate of Completion in Organizational Management by Central Penn College.

Thirty-three team members from the GIANT Company graduated from an acclerated management training program at Central Penn College on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, offered in partnership with the college's Center for Workforce Excellence.

Twenty-five team members from the GIANT Company went through a different kind of check-out line at Central Penn College on November 9, 2022. They each finished their "shopping" excursion by filling up their cart with valuable management skills. Their graduation was held at Central Penn College's Conference Center, followed by a celebratory luncheon with family and friends, along with GIANT and college staff. The graduates completed the classes as part of the GIANT University Department Manager Business Academy, taught by Central Penn College faculty. This is the second class to graduate from the Academy.

Central Penn College celebrated its 139th commencement in a virtual ceremony on Saturday, June 12, at 1 p.m. More than 300 students graduated during the 2020-2021 academic year from the Summerdale-based institution. Commencement Speaker Major Kristal Turner-Childs--Acting Deputy Commissioner of Staff, Pennsylvania State Police--talked about the power of persistence in the face of adversity and setbacks. Her message to graduates was a powerful one: "NO doesn't mean NEVER!" "Graduates, this is your moment Go out and create your own opportunity," said Dr. Linda Fedrizzi-Williams, president of Central Penn College.

Central Penn College recently held a virtual commencement for the 2020 graduating class. "We are extremely proud of our 416 graduates who persevered and prevailed--in face of unprecedented challenges posed by a global pandemic--to earn their degree," said Dr. Linda Fedrizzi-Williams, president of the Central Penn College. Approximately 40% of Central Penn's 2020 class graduated with honors.
