Mariano Figueroa-Perez receives a student award from Central Penn College

Mariano Figueroa-Perez, of Harrisburg, Pa., a Central Penn College physical therapist assistant student, received the Legacy Award for Perseverance, presented at Central Penn College's 134th annual Commencement ceremony May 6.

Figueroa-Perez's ability to overcome struggles and achieve success was noted by the physical therapy assistant faculty. This student went through many obstacles placed before him throughout his educational journey at Central Penn. The faculty who nominated him are sure this quality will only enhance his continued success.
