Jessica Grice receives a student excellence award from Central Penn College

Jessica Grice, of Philadelphia, Pa., received one of five student excellence awards presented at Central Penn College's 135th annual Commencement ceremony May 12. Grice graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and received the 2017 Student Leadership Award.

Throughout her time at Central Penn College, Grice has been an active leader in a variety of campus clubs and organizations. Through her college and community service, she exemplifies the qualities of civic leadership. She also proudly represented Central Penn College at the Washington Internship Institute in Washington, D.C. where she applied her personal, social and civic leadership skills to the world of public service. Dr. Melissa Wehler, dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences described Jessica's leadership as "cool, calm, and collected, and added that there have been many students at Central Penn College that have benefitted from her willingness to share her gifts with the college community."
