Christine Fusselman receives a student award from Central Penn College

Christine Fusselman, of Dover, Pa., a Central Penn College corporate communications student, received the Student Leadership Award, presented at Central Penn College's 134th annual Commencement ceremony May 6.

Fusselman was a leader inside the classroom and around campus as she served on the Student Multicultural Advisory Board, the International Society Club, the Media Club and the Student Government Association. She worked as a student reporter for Marketing Services and also wrote for The Knightly News blog. Fusselman helped organize many activities and was at most school functions in one capacity or another, always encouraging others to participate. Her ability to model leadership principles defines the impact of what a true leader is.
